Oregon is seeking to fill one non-tenure-track faculty position in Management
Information Systems.

Description: We are
seeking a candidate able to provide high quality teaching in the area of
Management Information Systems within the Decision Sciences Department of the
Lundquist College of Business. Candidates must be comfortable teaching
information-technology topics to business students, including: spreadsheet
analysis, networking, security, website design, and database systems. The primary responsibility of this
position is to teach large sections of a required course involving applied
spreadsheet analysis and fundamental information-management skills to
undergraduate business students (at the sophomore and junior level).
The Lundquist College targets
the development of certain skills in our students and faculty, especially cross-disciplinary
business strategy. We seek candidates with a commitment to working
effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
Qualifications: Post-graduate
degree in Management Information Systems or closely related discipline
required, and demonstrated knowledge of and ability to teach applied
spreadsheet analysis and information management skills. Ability to teach upper
level MIS electives is desirable. Previous university level teaching experience
strongly preferred.
